As the temperatures have risen at a level which allowed open air sketching without becoming frostbite I brought my new sketchbook Stilman & Birn Beta Series A4 to the Ringstraße. The unfamiliar size auf this book caused some delusions of grandeur. Actually I wanted to sketch the side view of the MAK (Museum of Applied Arts) but suddenly hybris overwhelmed me and I started with this big Gründerzeit mansion.
It took me three lunch breaks (and my breaks are longer than 30 minutes) to finish it. I definitely have to find a method to become quicker.
