Today I joined the USK Vienna for the first time. The weather was not god and the few who came, disappeared rather soon again.
St. Michael’s is one of Vienna’s oldest churches including a famous crypt. It faces Michaelerplatz, which is surrounded by some completely different buildings. One can sketch there the whole day without getting bored.
The sun sank too fast for my brush, suddenly the whole facade was in the shadow. The bigger sketchbook turns out to be a bad idea. It’s unhandy and have the tendency to fill the whole page because there is so much space.
